Here’s the thing—I’m not the right photographer for everyone. And that’s a good thing.
Photography isn’t just about snapping pictures. It’s about style, energy, trust, and vision. It’s about capturing your wedding in a way that feels authentic to you. And sometimes, that means recognizing when a photographer and a couple just aren’t the right match.
So, how do we figure out if we’re meant to work together?
We’re probably a great match if…
You want wedding photos that feel bold, editorial, and stylish—the kind that wouldn’t look out of place in a high-end magazine.
You love the idea of strong composition, dramatic lighting, and images that go beyond just documenting the day—they tell a story.
You appreciate good design, contemporary aesthetics, and fashion-forward imagery.
You trust the artist you’re hiring and are open to a creative approach.
You want a photographer who will work with you to create something unique, rather than just running through a standard checklist.
We might not be the best fit if…
You prefer soft, pastel-toned, light-and-airy photography—that’s beautiful, but it’s not what I do.
You’re after a traditional “smile at the camera” style with minimal artistic direction.
You need hundreds of group photos and want the day to feel like an extended family photoshoot.
You’re looking for a photographer to blend in and take purely documentary-style images without any creative input.
You feel uncomfortable handing over creative control and trusting the photographer’s vision.
And that’s okay.
There are so many incredible wedding photographers out there, all with different styles, personalities, and approaches. Finding the right fit means ensuring that you get exactly what you want from your wedding photography experience.
What if we’re not a match?
First off—no hard feelings at all. This is your wedding, and you deserve a photographer who aligns with your vision. If you realise my style isn’t quite what you’re after, I’d much rather you go with someone whose work makes you excited than settle for something that doesn’t.
If I don’t think I’m the right photographer for you, I’ll be honest about it. I might even be able to recommend someone whose style fits what you’re looking for.
